Mmm, pho. May I recommend for future sore throat soothing Tom Kha or Tom Yum, both of which are pretty magical when I have a cold

I went to Jack in the Box for lunch because they offered me a free cheeseburger and advertised a Krusty Burger and sometimes I am very silly. If anyone is tempted, both were very disappointing. As I suppose is in keeping with the original as depicted on The Simpsons, I don't know why I expected better.

The Mexican place was all dressed up for Halloween so it was a very spooky fiesta.(Mexico has done more Halloween than when we talked about the culture in school, but around here, I think people pick a day and decide it's fall--Halloween is a fun way to move the year along. They gave me a fried ice cream and sang and stuff. I had a cheese enchilada, rice, and beans. Muy buena, though I did kind of pick because feeling full is sometimes not comfortable for me lately. I took it home to eat in stages, though... I might have bought a Krusty burger, too, -t. I am willing to pay for novelty(I was gonna say "to be tickled" but that seemed like a thought for Bitches, on further reflection, but I am not looking for that, either. Most fun family occasion we've had for a bit.

Everywhere around here seems to be either slowly putting out a little Halloween stuff at a time starting as soon as the schools opened (which ALSO seemed very early to me) or jumping entirely to Full Spooky now. I am ok with both but it is a little odd that it's happening before we even get to the equinox

Now I want an enchilada.

There is too much Halloween stuff around here, which I don't like until October. Don't rush this!

They gave me a fried ice cream

Man, I love fried ice cream. It's the contrast of the crunchy parts and the smooth ice cream.

No fried ice cream for me, but pho is on the way!

I have no idea what's going on with my body -- I was feeling like I might be getting Covid a few days ago, then slept for about 20 hours yesterday, and today pretty much every muscle in my body is super tense. Like, having trouble moving because they're so tight. Also, ow.

I ordered pad thai.

Never had it, but not this week...my stomach decided the enchiladas were...kind of a reach.(Goes and sits on the "WTF, Body?" bench with Hil, but not too close.) A little upset at a time like that? Not totally unusual... it's weird that my system acted like I ate all the enchiladas, ever, though. Even kind of like I was choking, at first. But yes, the fried ice cream was truly a work of art. Even though I had a plan to find out if I really do like flan after writing about it in Spanish class for years, but I still haven't ever had one. Maybe for another occasion.

I'd go for fried ice cream over flan any day. Sorry the belly is being so uncooperative.
