Kaylee: So, uh, how come you don't care where you're going? Book: 'Cause how you get there is the worthier part.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I think it might be time to get some Etsy witches involved.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Yes. Along with proof nobody reads my lists.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, lisah!

Current musing on Dolly: Interesting that her style was seen as hyper femme, but her iconic looks were usually very fancy pant suits. A more bedazzled variation on HRC's boss ensembles.

Current musing on Tim: I discovered him in RHPS in the 70s. So I didn't realize how ubiquitous he was in kid's media during the 80s/90s: Muppet Treasure Island, voice work in Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Xmas (direct to video - but the best direct to video Disney sequel), Annie, Wild Thornberries, Ferngully, Captain Hook, Jimmy Neutron.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have another 80-year-old in mind.

As pointed out by a co-worker of mine, almost the entire adult cast of Home Alone 2 has died now. (ALMOST)

Still pissed about Catherine O'Hara.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am not enjoying this daily new person to mourn feature

That which does not kill you should RUN

My cervical spine surgery is scheduled for September 14. And that's actually great, because we have a trip to the beach planned for the second week of November, and I should be recovered plenty by that point to go sit on a deck and read.

Now I have to obsessively plan.
