At my in-office book club today, the question came up of what was everyone's formative tv/movie (the main character quotes The Big Lebowski constantly). The book club lead immediately turns to me and says "Jess you go first, explain what your formative media is and why is it Buffy"

You know, I typically do not like to be asked direct questions like that, but I have a pretty specific answer to this one. It was when Buffy said "...you're like my own personal Q"[paraphrasing] and DH was all "Huh" and I sad "James Bond not Star Trek" just before Buffy did and I was home.
