It's because you didn't have a strong father figure isn't it?

That which does not kill you should RUN

compared to, say, Nausea Classic

None of the versions of nausea (Classic; Nausea 2: Electric Boogaloo; Nausea Strikes Back; Nausea: This Time It's Cyclospora!) are awesome.

Thrive to spite them

I keep getting random weird things. My eyes will randomly statt feeling dry and then that goes away.

There is my Mystery GI symptoms, ehich i guess is IBS and GERD . But then i get worried because i didn't have a colonoscopy because i had just had one....but what if my issues aren't because I ate too much dairy or corn or does my bowel movement look abnormal what if it's not the GI stuff but colon cancer.

My joints will randomly start hurting. No hot flashes in a while though.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

(Commentary from a friend: "I just imagined the actor who is playing Lestat in the TV show reading that and ended up laughing so hard I choked.")

Oh god, I can hear it in his voice and it is PERFECT.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Well, they do have video screens at the DMV satellite thing that show pet and Funniest Home videos so I guess they *could* possibly pull off a true RickRoll somehow if somebody was an adept trickster, but I guess that was my way of being funny about hearing that song for the first time in a long while.

It was the Big Boss birthday yesterday so I joked that we all chipped in together and brought him big wins in Michigan and that somebody paid a lot for shipping.

Whew all the fun nausea for everyone! I was at a dance convention last weekend and Friday night I puked right after bed, but assumed it was because I had pizza shortly before bed and shouldn’t have. But then Saturday I wasn’t feeling hungry and Saturday night I got super sick every 30-45 minutes for 8 hours. It was miserable. I was still in very rough shape the rest of Sunday and couldn’t take any of the classes or DJ like I was supposed to! And I still felt pretty bad Monday and Tuesday and even a bit yesterday (just nauseous, but still!).

Leaving on Sunday for Iceland!! Not at all prepared and not accepting that Sunday is in three days.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh no! I hope Iceland is therapeutic!

I thought I was seasick on the way back to Amsterdam after the 2015 eclipse but it eventually proved to be a bug. But I was all better by the time we got to Iceland, so fingers crossed for you

Our wings are not tired.

I'm looking forward to living vicariously through the Iceland-headed friends.

My life is pretty routine at the moment. DH is working on building a shed and probably a deck. I'm doing a lot of relaxing.

I need to avoid the news more. Everything is so upsetting. Thank you erikaj for the letter writing link reminder. The TPS situation is extremely stressful. Brendon wants to help so many of his Haitian kids, but there is only so much he can do.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

As we get into August I have to steel myself for FB memories about bringing Jacqueline home for hospice.

It's not a PTSD feeling or something I want to avoid, but I know I'm going to be hitting on those feels.

Today's the third anniversary of me announcing that JZ was stopping chemo and we were preparing for hospice.

I read through all the responses again which were all so heartfelt. But what really pulled me up short were seeing the comments from people who had died in the last three years. Six people (One was Sue Ozon) - only two of whom knew they were dealing with cancer at that moment.

Then I mentally noted all the people responding who I knew had lost a spouse or child. That was another 8 people.

We just don't know how much time is given.

Oh, wow. Being able to count up the losses like that, oof.
