Yeah I bet cruise is good and I’ve heard Spain is a better bet for clear skies but ah well.

Our wings are not tired.

In random Fort Lauderdale news, this is apparently a record-breaking turtle nesting season. When I went over to the beach last night, I noticed bunches of cordoned off nests, so I checked this morning and found that they have roped off over 400 nests as of last week. Just from the spot I had planted myself I could see probably a dozen. Yay Turtles!

My snorkeling friends have posted quite a few turtle pictures lately, so they must be enjoying conditions right now.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Did The Lost Boys win anything? I know they were nominated for a bunch of Tonys.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Supporting Actor and Actress, I believe. Don't know about the non-acting awards.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

As long as you, you know, stay clear of the plain…

Today is a nostalgic anniversary of the B.org big move to new server 2003. So much work done by ita and others to create this space. So very grateful.

Thrive to spite them

I forgot to go vote in tbr primaries yesterday. M was like...we need to go sooner rather than later and I felt like crap so put it off and realized around 8 we hadn't gone.

And I didnt sleep well last night because I had more intense , distressing dreams and smoke up not feeling very rested.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Bummer, askye. I hope you feel better soon and that the primaries went ok (not going to try to check the news to find out myself...)

Finally caught up on Midnight Burger. Caspar making me want to cry while I'm driving, that's hardly fair. Y'all didn't mention Ava singing Tom Lehrer, always a treat. I feel like there were more, like, musical interludes of various kinds in this episode? Cannot wait for the next one, but also desperate to know what's going on with the Horizon crew (really appreciated the "I'm sure Leif will show up eventually" I am paraphrasing from the previouslies...)

Many thinks to all of our coding creators. Built by ita, updated by Gud. I know DXM did a lot of archival stuff. Lots of people put work into the design (Jon B., Michelle Tepper...).

It is a pleasure to rest my eyes on our home site. So clean and legible and unlike the clickbaity, scrolling, hurlyburly the interpipes have devolved into.

Speaking of which, how goes the funding for the Board?

I still use the Amazon link for all the stuff I get there so I hope that the % is going to us.
