Sorry lisah, I've been a Trekkie, rooted for the Bruins in the 90s, and was immersed in multiple branches of Buffy fandom, so my cult dance card is already full.
I heard yesterday that I was accepted into the clinical trial, so I'll be getting my heart ablation on May 5. These cardiology folks don't waste any time! I'm used to "the specialist might have an opening for you in three months," and then having to make lots of calls to get anything set up. I guess it's good that I won't have too much time to build up worry before the procedure is over and done with.
That's awesome that they are able to get you in so quickly!
Thanks for the messages, 'ffistas.
Friday would have been mom's 78th birthday so we had a Happy Birthday bouquet and all the cards she'd received on a table at her visitation. My youngest sister would like it officially noted that even though she died four days before her birthday she should get full credit for the year, so mom was officially 78.
I'm in, lisah! All my yoga poses are belong to you.
Timelies all!
Had some ups and downs this past week.
Ups: Spent this past weekend in Toronto at FilKOntario. Got to see people I haven't seen in a while and heard some wonderful music.
Downs: Mr. S had a major meltdown at school with aggression towards a fellow student and staff. He's been suspended for the rest of the week. He's staying with the nanny since Gary's away at the latest round of the building code hearings.(He gets back late tomorrow)
(Poor Gary had to get up at stupid o'clock Sunday to catch an 8:15 flight.)
Heart~ma, Matt!
I am so ready to join a lisah cult!
Laura, let me know if you want any induction ready pans at wholesale (offer limited to my company’s brands, other restrictions that I don’t know off the top of my head may apply)
Thanks, -t. I may reach out after you get back from your adventures. Also, tell all! How is it going?
Really good! Although typing on a moving train is a challenge. I’ll be in one place for almost a week starting tonight, so I’ll update more during that time, I expect
I’m loving your travel tales! and pictures, -t!
Along with the other clothes confusion I always see muumuus and caftans used interchangeably even though I kind of know the difference. And I also end up gnashing my teeth everytime I see "moomoo" instead of muumuu.
Also in the decline of American literacy I'm seeing "nick nack" a lot more often. I think that just goes to show how little people read anything anymore.
