Thrive to spite them

I hate our healthcare system. The mom of a coworker, R (I like her she's one of my faves to work with) just got diagnosed with lymphoma but stage 1. She had her first chemo treatment yesterday but her BP dropped and she passed out so she was taken to the ER and they want to admit her but there are no beds open so she has been in the ER for over a day at this point.

I can't believe the twins are 19! But E will be 18 in August. Eighteen!!! I can't believe it. He is supposed to come for a quick spring break visit so fingers crossed he will be able to get through TSA ok. His flight gets in around midnight so M and I will get him. From Asheville not from Spartanburg thankfully.

And then at the end of April he is going to be in his second musical. Susecial the Musical. He's the Grinch, a fish and something else. Mom and I and maybe M if he thinks his back can handle it are going to go . It will be a very quick turn around which sucks but I only have so much PTO to use.

Oh and I was Employee of the Month for Feb. I think it only took this long because I hadn't been able to get my points down. So that was nice.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

kat,

No.

However, I did receive an email today, asking me to confirm my shipping address. The optimist in me wants to interpret that as, "Oh, they are going to ship a new bottle to me." The realist in me thinks they are just confirming they sent my order to the right address to begin with, and that the fault definitely lies with the USPS.

I hope I get some indication of next steps on Monday. Waiting is hard.

If they ask me to prove I didn't get the order, I will both laugh and curse. I have no way to prove that negative event.

Oh dcp, I am so very sorry. Everything about this sounds hellishly maddening. I'm always nervous when I have to deal with shipped meds.

information libertarian

Friends, I worried after not seeing Instagram updates from Sue O in some time and googled and found an obituary.

I’m so sad. Did we know this and I missed it? She died January 1.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My understanding is that AB+ can receive AB+ whole blood, but none of the other blood types can receive it. Therefore, the only part of the donation useful to those other blood types is just the plasma.

What they told me was they still have to do some kind of type matching for plasma and AB+ plasma is the kind they can give anyone regardless of type. Shrug. My pulse was too high during intake or whatever that’s called so I will try again next week

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, flea. I thought for sure I'd seen her more recently than that on BlueSky, but no. I hope her dog and cat are okay.
