Argh. So I tried teaching the class online, using my iPad. When I tried sharing my iPad screen over Zoom, it would share whatever the screen looked like at the moment I started sharing it, but then that image was static -- it didn't change when I changed stuff on the iPad. I spent like ten minutes in front of the camera trying to troubleshoot it, and eventually just gave up -- there was no way to teach the lesson I was supposed to do today without being able to write stuff, and it would be a disservice to their learning to try to do it anyway. So, ended the class after about fifteen minutes, and I guess I'll just be a day behind until I can catch up somehow.

there are just days like that. "Wow, that was worth it. Not." I have writing workshop again tonight. Very strange story from a pro to start. Like "While You Were Sleeping" sort of, but in a mental hospital.

Why am I so fucking tired? I went to sleep at a decent hour, I didn’t do too much yesterday, I slept plenty (and then reset my alarm and slept some more) but all I wanna do is get back in bed (…I don’t think it would be very effective because the construction workers across the alley are doing very loud obnoxious things this morning, but I still really want to)

I got my tax stuff around and uploaded it for my preparer. Here’s hoping for nothing unexpected. I also received an email from a place I’d applied last summer saying, “The position has been reposted with some changes. Please reapply.” So I did. Less than an hour later I got a “no thanks” e-mail. Like, dude, y’all reached out to me. WTF?
