No, no, no, sir. No more chick pit for you. Come on.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Wonderful news, Steph!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I got permission to work from home today. That means teaching over Zoom, which I hate doing, but it's better than trying to navigate campus in a wheelchair in these temperatures and snow/ice.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

My cancer medication took a very strange path before it finally reached me today.

Starting in Ybor City FL, it went to St. Paul MN, then Kansas City KS, Platte City MO, Kansas City MO, Kansas City KS, Liberty MO, Kansas City KS, Kansas City MO, Liberty MO, and finally delivered.

WTF?

I'm relieved that I ordered the refill with plenty of time to spare.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

How weird! Glad it did get to you

Sorry your choices are all not great, Hil, but glad you are not out trying to navigate through snow and ice

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

I shall do the "clean scan" kitchen dance in celebration and solidarity.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I overcooked a pizza last night, ate it anyway, and scraped the living heck out of my hard palate. My mouth still hurts this morning and it's so distracting I can't get any work done. Send help (in the form of soft foods).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Maybe French yogurt! It's very smooth and silky.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am thrilled by Tim's scan, and saddened about msbelle's doggo.

I have a call with my finance guy at 10, and then Pilates at noon and then my weekend is officially on.

Tomorrow I'm going to the high tea at the Edwardian Ball. It's in the same venue where we held Jacqueline's memorial, so imagine me there, wearing her Fez, having tea sandwiches.

I'm going with my friend, Rachael, and she came over last weekend and helped me pull clothes together to assemble my Edward Gorey-worthy look. We'll be meeting up with Emmett's godmother, Karen, and her friend so should be fun.

Yesterday, I indulged three separate appointments for self care: started at a barber shop in the morning, then got a facial in the afternoon, and finished with eyelash extensions in the evening.

Aw, you at the Edwardian Ball is very nice to think about! And a full day of pampering prep, very nice

I have an appointment to give blood at lunch time today, and am discussing going to our more-or-less usual Saturday rally with my folks. I really need to spend some time beating back the weeds in my front yard this weekend, I guess that will be Sunday. And I just realized the deadline for my biannual Smog check is Monday, oops, guess I will be starting my work day late...

SoftFood~ma, Jess. Gelato, perhaps?
