sounds like great news.
Great news, Trudy!
I've got a ticket to a show on Sunday night (the tour of Hell's Kitchen), but considering our forecast seems to be anywhere from 6 inches to 87 feet of snow, I'm not sure if the roads will be safe to actually get there. Guess all I can do is wait and see.
Crazy cold stuff. My sister heard the plow go by so she figured she would clear the ridge to her driveway. Checked and it was minus 26 so she figured it would wait. Her grandson takes care of it but she tries to help.
Don’t know if I mentioned that my niece in Otter Lake is going through breast cancer chemo. She teaches high school so gets exposed to lots of colds and stuff. She is doing well with her infusions but has isolated as much as possible at home and wears masks and gloves much of the time.
Oh, great. A chipped tooth. On a weekend, right before a major snowstorm. I’m going wait it out to see my regular dentist next week, and hope that it doesn’t get painful.
Ugh, Tom! Can you get one of those temporary repair things anywhere closeby?
Argh, Tom, I hope that works out okay.
All y’all stay safe and warm!
I feel like I should add a disclaimer: whenever I say “stay safe” or similar I am not instructing anyone to be careful or whatever, it is more in the way of a protective spell powered by hope
Got a notice that the show I was going to see on Sunday has been canceled because of the weather, which I'd kind of expected. My neighborhood is prone to power outages, and I've got enough non-perishable food to last a few days. Also have a bunch of blankets ready.
Ran around being productive yesterday: did Pilates, did laundry, did the dishes, rescheduled an appointment, scheduled two other calls, and thought I was good going into today.
Last night Matilda called me and said the school has not received the tuition payment (they should have gotten this week) and she's no longer officially registered in her classes.
So I scrambled this morning to pay the tuition online, and hope that she can maintain her schedule AND I have to get the office of student accounts to hold the check that got sent in but has not been processed.
Kinda stressy.
But I drove her and her stuff up to campus, and now I just have to vacuum before I'm hanging out with my friend Rachael as we plan our outfits for the Edward Ball Tea next Saturday. That part should be fun.
Her long xmas break is over and second semester awaits. And it's paid for.
Yikes! Not cool, school.
