After it poured all day yesterday it’s finally sunny here again (one day only!) so happy Christmas miracle to that.

Feel like I should do something to feel more christmassy but not sure what.

Ooh! I just realized that I’ve been so wrapped up in heated Rivalry that I forgot Christmas also means Yuletide! To the fanfic mines!

Lucked out with 2 days off. Really hoping for some snow or ice overnight so I can wfh tomorrow, but it’s not looking good.

Yesterday I cleaned and culled.

Today I lounged. Now knitting.

I’ll pick up the cleaning on the weekend again.

I'm at my dad's, and my sister came over today. So we got Chinese food and watched a streaming movie and hung out for a while.

Aeryn doesn't like Chinese food so we made crepes! I prepped a bunch of fillings and set up a little assembly line, and they were delicious. Kids are making dessert crepes now while I lounge.

Ooh crepes sounds tasty! I made Chex mix and puppy chow. I figure I’ll snack on both on my drive this weekend.

I'm watching the Call the Midwife Christmas special with my dad, who last watched this show probably five years ago. He keeps getting excited when he sees a character he recognizes.

I might stay up late to watch the Heated Rivalry finale when it's posted at midnight -- I've been sleeping on a really weird schedule anyway. I'll see how awake I am then.

I need to be up early because my sibs & niblings are coming over for breakfast, so I'll just be on a social media fast until I have time for an hour alone with HBO. (Yeah I know what happens but I don't want to watch the entire ep through Instagram edits before I actually watch it for real.)

Matilda and her beau have come back up from their nap in the Garden Apartment.

I made them a lovely, rich, nourishing, soul-warming soup from the Thanksgiving stock and turkey pot roast leftovers.

Storm continues to roll in on tumultuous waves, so I've switched to hot cider with cognac and a few small Lavender/Lemon shortbread cookies.
