I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ha, that’s awesome!

Today is our pre-outlet sale employee extra 10% off already low low prices sale. I intended to just walk through and get nothing. That did not work out. In my defense, when I asked the fam if anyone wanted anything over the weekend no one answered, but when I sent pics today I got takers

WFH the rest of the day (because I forgot to bring my laptop charger with me so I ran out of juice during a zoom call...)which is pleasant but I just remembered that I left the eggnog I impulse bought this morning in the fridge at the office I don't normally go to. I think I can swing by and get it on Thursday...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have voted on the sole issue on the ballot, Yes on Fuck You Texas, We Can Gerrymander Too.

I got the most befuddled old poll worker dude who was really having a tough time with alphabetizing, which is tricky since that's 98% of his job.

You can register to vote at the polling place and a number of people were doing that, so (a) that's good sign indicating robust turnout on a single issue vote, and (b) the large number of provisional ballots is probably going to come up after Kristi Noemi's assertion that voting in California is rigged. "It's a fact!" she declared, offering zero evidence.

I don't expect the vote to be close though, as the GOP stopped all their ad campaign after they saw the numbers last week.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm sure that my keeping that campaign in post-its made all the difference. (mockingly tips hat to self)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was seeing overwhelming ads and, then, nothing. I have high hopes for 50, but frayed nerves until I see actual results.

Dropping off my absentee off earlier today, I forgot the ballot box is behind the library not at the back of the library. But they just let you walk through. I'm clearly not the only one who does this every dang election.

I realized that my subpar cottage cheese could be faked into ricotta for a single or double serve lasagne with some noodles and sauce. I love when problematic leftover ingredients sort of solve themselves.

I love to hear that! I generally like voting in person, but I voted early this time and got my notification that my vote was counted the same day that the DOJ announced they were coming to observe. Too late, suckers!

Lasagne to the rescue! Also love that!

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Our household dropped off our ballots a week or so ago, so as not to have any hassles on the day.

I am quite pleased that voting has gotten progressively (!!) easier over my voting lifetime. And wryly noting that I am once again voting in the county where I voted for President for the first time (1988, in Berkeley, for Dukakis. Though, come to think of it, my polling place in that election was the garage of the neighbour down the street, which was quite convenient.)

Always Anti-fascist!

we just had an override for the school district(otherwise known as stealth taxes...we sneak 'em in, like giving a pet a pill--it's stupid, but it kind of works.)

I just completed my ballot and need to drop it off before the box closes tonight (yay mail in voting, except not actually mailing).
