I am def languishing. In part because I like to have a packed social calendar and right now I have just about nothing on the calendar. There’s no activities, most of my friends are still cautious, and I have a hard time planning anything for the future not knowing where we will be a month or three from now??? Ugh. But also worried about the dog when things do start opening up. He still doesn’t like being left at home even though he’s better about it.

Ooooooor, I could just wait for my next Amazon shipment to arrive because probably it’ll be real soon. I did actually use up one box today, to corral cleaning products beneath my sink! Everything got taken out because of the leaking disposal, so now trying to be less of a black hole in there.

Whew lord yes, let’s all break down and get out 3 or 4 boxes this week.

I have a slight sore throat. ISTG, if I got sick from having to go into the office this week, I'm gonna want to break something.

I also got some really upsetting family news this week. No one's dead or injured, but many years ago, a close family member was involved in something that would probably be prosecuted today. The news has come out, and it's just ugly and embarrassing.

And hope your throat is allergies! And/or, I often get a slight sore throat after wearing a mask all day because I talk weird with it on.

I, too, am sorry, Dana. And, I also get a sore throat wearing a mask all day, because I think I might be shouting.

I just learned that Justin Theroux and Louis Theroux are not the same person, therefore Louis Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are not married. This is almost as dissappointing as Nicole Kidman not being married to Karl Urban.

And I hate to tell you, but Justin Theroux and Jennifer Anniston broke up.

And (not really mind-blowing but sad) - Medina Spirit came back over the amount for some drug that racing limits. Baffert is appealing. . . but this sort of thing keeps happening to horses under his care.

Ugh. I have a good friend who I haven’t seen much the last year. And she and her gf decided to move to California. And I kinda hate her gf. And they said oh we will move in October and so we will be vaccinated soon and have an awesome last summer. But now it’s all through her gf, who says “oh we bought a house already so we have to get our current house ready to sell and I’m really busy with work so we can’t do the dinner the whole group planned to do now that everyone is vaccinated” and I’m really annoyed with her gf for gatekeeping and speaking for her? Which is unfair because my friend could speak if she wanted to. But also she’s very much someone who subsumes herself in relationships and I dislike that about her. So she probably wouldn’t come to dinner without her gf anyway, even though we were all friends with her long before they got together. And I’m so annoyed that probably they’re going to make plenty of time to see the gf’s friends before they leave town. And I know I should blame my friend for that but I’m hating on her gf instead. And knowing I’ll probably never hear from my friend once they leave and her gf with continue to make the decisions and speak on her behalf. I wish they’d break up. They almost did, a year or so ago, and then go back together real quick and it was such a bummer.
