The communication levels in cancer treatment seem remarkably haphazard.

"One more day" seems to happen a lot when one is in hospital for almost anything.
We got the word that today is a short day, hooray! Especially since I assumed it would be and did not bring any lunch.

I asked Tim if he was working a full day, and he said "Well, I might leave early. Like 4:30." Living on the edge there, bro.
t edit To be fair, he usually works until 6 or 6:30, and on Thursdays I'm lucky if he's home before 8 p.m. So for him, 4:30 *is* early.
Also, internet, I noticed that most sites have now gone to having the password field completely blind instead of at least showing the letters briefly. That seriously ups the wrong password factor.
I again hate the cloud. It once again won't sync. If the damn program is on the computer, you can just run it.
Yup. I mistype like a mofo, but I can usually catch it if I can see the letters at least as I am typing them. A lot of sites used to have a box you could check if you wanted to make your password visible but that seems to be out of fashion.

Which is why I hate the idea of cloud-based everything. My productivity should not be based on systems I have no control over.
Yeah, very hate passwords. And I have a password manager on my computer but inevitably I'm trying to log in to some obscure account on someone else's laptop or something and then it's not helpful because I have no idea the random characters it picked!

I'm actually in this dilemma, mostly out of laziness. We've been married over 2 years, and I go by Stephanie [birth name] [married name] professionally, but I haven't actually legally changed my name. I really ought to do it.
I'm not giving up my gmail address, though. (I also grabbed slbeckmeyer as a gmail address when we got engaged, though I don't use it.)
I am in Minneapolis. I just bought a salad and a hunk of smoked Gouda at a wine and cheese shop. My next flight should board soon.
Woot! I get to leave two hours early today and claim full hours! Yay, seniority!
