Ginger, I'm glad things are better today. Like, everyone else, I wish I was closer.
I made a ginger lime curd to fill doughnuts, and it doesn't taste any different than my lemon curd. I even put in slightly more ginger than the recipe called for, but I can't taste the ginger at all.
I'm watching Crazy Ex Girlfriend, in the second episode now, and (a) I really like it and (b) I totally know where that strawberry donut from around the corner came from.

Okay, I have booked my Christmas travel and found a promo code to save money on a taxi to SFO on Wednesday because my flight is at 6:40am. UGH, why did I do that to myself?
At least I'm planning to work from home tomorrow, so I should be able to do laundry and pack and get in bed as early as possible without a long commute.
Shrift I hear your pain--my options tend to either be "leave at 6am" or "get to Indiana at midnight". This year I went for the midnight option because it goes through Phoenix, so less chance of O'Hare snow issues.
Yeah, we return Saturday at 1:05AM. Well, Sunday morning.
Yeah, I'm sure my other options involved arriving after midnight. I'm connecting through Minneapolis on the way there and Houston on the way back.
I'm looking at the information for a new medication I'm starting. It says that, if I experience a loss of blood pressure or pulse, I should get emergency help immediately. I think I could have figured that one out, though I'm puzzled as to how, exactly, that's supposed to work.
Forty-five minutes later, a kitchen guy showed up, who stared at the meatballs and said "Wow, just wow" repeatedly.
