I shop mainly at Kroger and an Arkansas employee-owned market chain Harps (depending on whether I want good cheese/deli and ice cream selections or noodle soups and cheap household goods). But a new organic grocery just opened up with awesome blue cheese and lunch counter sandwiches, so my luxuries budget is going to be spent there.

I am not sure I am strong enough to overcome the do not want this morning.
Same, same. At least I'm making some progress on clearing out my in-box? It's not nearly the most important thing I could be doing, but it's better than just staring at the wall like I would like to.
I called in sick, or working from home, at least. I'm not really markedly sicker than I've been for the last couple of weeks, just stuffed up and rundown, but didn't want to get up this morning.
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning, and that partly was due to the fact that it was cold enough in my apartment to turn on the heat.
It is indeed a Monday. So many fires on the workfront. Blah.
Some ~ma for Mom would be appreciated. She is in the hospital with bronchitis and pneumonia. They had given her oral meds but it didn't do the trick. She is more freaked out about being in the hospital than anything else so I hope they release her as quickly as possible. Everything is more critical at 94 so we are nervous and of course concerned for her anxiety.
Lots of ~ma, Laura!
I hope your mother gets loose soon, Laura!

I cannot stop watching that puppy drummer! It cracks me up every time!
I am not sure I am strong enough to overcome the do not want this morning.
I wasn't strong enough, hence oversleeping madly, even though I have a ton of work to do today. So do not want.
We have many grocery stores for such a small city, I guess. Two Krogers, two Food Lions, Giant, Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Walmart and Target both sell groceries, and they're building a Wegman's. And we just got a CostCo, and there's a Sam's, for those who like their food in bulk. What we don't have is a cheap grocery. Everything's gone upscale. The Harris Teeter is ridiculously expensive, on par with Whole Paycheck. The only one that's still got pretty low prices is the Food Lion by me.
I wish you some ~ma for your mom, Laura!
I'm hungry. I keep thinking I should eat something, and then I remind myself that I'm not allowed to eat anything.
