So the child, sigh. The fight 2 weeks ago has now resulted in a schuedule change. Mac's third change this year. I need to now meet with his new English teacher.

After watching a season's worth of Rocky Dakota's Special Snowflake incompetence and meltdowns on Below Deck, my answer to this is an emphatic HELL NO! We learn to behave by being told when we're misbehaving!
