Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sparky, that mother had no reason to go all mama bear on you. I admire your restraint in just walking away.

Boo, child. Please stop making your mother's head spin.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"with some children, you just can't tell them they did anything wrong because they are too sensitive."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yes some kids are sensitive, but do we really want anyone thinking they can do whatever they want and not be able to handle being told they are wrong? Jesusita.

After watching a season's worth of Rocky Dakota's Special Snowflake incompetence and meltdowns on Below Deck, my answer to this is an emphatic HELL NO! We learn to behave by being told when we're misbehaving!

Yeah, thats ridiculous. Sensitive snowflake.

I used my light box thing this morning! Still don't wanna get out of bed and do work though.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yesterday: University of Missouri president refuses to resign.

Less than 24 hours later: University of Missouri president resigns.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yes class changes for Mac. Since he is not in any advanced classes his schedule was easiest to change. I guess he and this kid had like 3 classes together. I find it amazing that the school did not contact me about it. I remain unimpressed with our schools. 3.5 years until graduation. If I thought he would do well, I would put him in a private school and have him repeat 9 th grade, but he would fight it and be a disruption.

ION - I have started the family holiday shopping. Whee!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

"with some children, you just can't tell them they did anything wrong because they are too sensitive."

That's such bullshit. The kid sounds like she had ample warning that was she wanted to do was unacceptable.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

"with some children, you just can't tell them they did anything wrong because they are too sensitive."

That's such bullshit. The kid sounds like she had ample warning that was she wanted to do was unacceptable.

It also sounds like she's never been told "No" before.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Just catching up (I had to take a couple of days off to take family members to doctor appointments). Thanks for the beautiful comments. Yes, we were interviewed by a British journalist a while ago. I didn't expect to make People magazine, though.

(And we sent the photos -- although that's actually Cat Ballou, better known as Bally -- "a" as in ham, not as in ball -- with Arthur.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"with some children, you just can't tell them they did anything wrong because they are too sensitive."

So those children will probably not be told they did anything wrong, until they start their first job after college. Then what?
