Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Very cool, Burrell!

So much time would be saved if people would just Do the Thing in general.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's wonderful, Burrell.

ltc is asleep next to me in her bouncy. The batteries just died but she fell asleep before that happened. My tea appears to be defective today. So I'm going to try to nap on the couch.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I agree -t, I would happily lay down my nag if other people would just Do the Thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I have crawled through the day trying to be at least marginally useful and only semi-succeeding. At least now I have a webinar to listen to for an hour.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Day almost over. Walked 5 people through this stuff and did minimal stuff for a few more. I know too much about these people.

That sounds super unfun msbelle.

Good news! The second infusion of Second Breakfast tea is also pretty darn tasty.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, that didn't last long.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Well, I got meets expectations. Which is fine, because I kept a lot of plates spinning while I was transitioning between roles and moving. I have a list of some things I can do, but I'm going to put off reading through all of the feedback for a day when I'm not in meetings from 7am to 4:30pm.

brillig

"Meets expectations" is always greeted with disappointment in my company. Managers want everyone to be exceeding expectations--with a cheerful smile and eager spirit, as well. I think I actually got dinged on a review once for asking why it wasn't acceptable to meet expectations.
