Oh lord, I'm at my friend's wedding and don't know anyone else here and I just asked a stranger for a ride. SO awkward. At least there is a charging station here in the hotel lobby because my phone is about to die for no apparent reason. I'm sure the dinner will be nice though, right?

I have total faith in your dinner, Jesse. Plus, it's a wedding, which generally means CAKE.
(Not always - my brother and SIL had organic local ice cream bars at their wedding, at which I am still a little aggrieved all these years later.)
Is Denver doing anything special with Blucifer to mark the occasion
Blucifer is terrifying 24/7. Only way to increase the terror is to have a to scale Belinda riding his back.
You can do it Jesse!
I've run out of treats already. It's just 7. I bought for 50, since I've been getting 30-40 lately.
I had one girl who was very goth princess...all black lace and purple decorations and even a black veil! Adorable.
There was also a kid dressed as bacon and eggs.
I love Blucifer. I'd like a small Blucifer in my front yard.
A friend reminded that Peppermint Patty/ie could also be the candy. Der doy. So I've made some "suspenders" out of elastic and York peppermint patties!
The entire staff of the sushi restaurant I went to—the sushi chefs, the wait staff, everyone—all were wearing identical Doraemon costumes.
Zen...if you REALLY want a Blucifer, let me know. I can be on the lookout.
I'm ready and waiting for trick or treaters to start their hunt. We bought a ton of candy since we have no clue what kind of traffic we will get.
This is also Jack's first Halloween. I'm planning on sitting on my porch so kids aren't too scared of him. I did put a sign in the window where he usually hangs out when we are outside that says Bark, BARK, bark, bArK, bark MEANS Happy Halloween.
I wore a leopard costume to work yesterday, which was a big hit. Today, we have just spent several sweaty hours cleaning and organizing the garage. Not exactly fun, but definitely needed.
Tonight, we are ducking out of our Halloweenish duties and going to see Antman at the $2 theater. We missed it not he first go round.
So this happened [link] and then this [link]
Fun night out on the porches handing out candy with Brian, Anna and Sandra with guest appearances by Dolly Parton, a German accented American rhinestone cowboy (his "ammuricah, fuck yeah" was priceless) and camp counselors from Wet Hot American Summer. Kids were mostly awesome, had a few entertainingly altered teens (hard to say if sugar, something more illicit or just drama club kids) and some tweens clearly testing us and their parents' last nerve (handled it t in such a way to diffuse both.)
At one point, handing 4 houses worth of candy from one porch out of laziness. Brian ordered us pizza and we had wine. I love my neighborhood.
