Lesson learned, book through the freaking airline and pay the money for peace of mind. Also, I can use my points, which I totally forgot about.
Yay for points! & I'm all about throwing money at an anxiety-causing issue to make it go away (paid a bunch of extra $$ to pick seats on the British Air flight we did this summer rather than wait until 24 hours before the flight to pick them for free).

Yes. It is a bit of a busy day. I'm over at one of my universities now sitting in on an advisee's rehearsal. Then back home to pick up some gear then a quick run over to Universal Studios to drop off some equipment. After that I will have a little sleep before I teach in the morning.

Uber and Salt Lake City committed kitten cuteness today.
A cat adoption agency set up 15-minute cuddle breaks and had Uber deliver kittens to offices. The video is highly amusing.

I did something like that when we did injuries in my stage makeup class. Freaked my roommate right out.
I've never flown first class. After being in a middle seat on an oversold red eye this weekend I might be willing to pony up for that next time though.
