And it's snowing at Rush Hour. Taking the long way home again.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Confession: I spent the last 20 years bitching about how, with primaries in mid-June, everything was decided before we got to have a say. And this year they moved our primary up to tomorrow and I FEEL YOU, ALL OF YOU WHO HATE THE ADS AND THE NASTINESS AND THE WHY WON'T IT JUST STOP ALREADY.

Plus the small fact that ever since the we-hate-obama redistricting fiasco of 2010, I pretty much want to cockpunch all of NC politics straight to the moon. Because these jackholes keep arguing with a straight face that it makes TOTAL sense for a state with a consistent 51/49 party split statewide to have a 10/3 split in congress? And a 25/3 split in the state senate?* Naw, jackholes, try again.

I will vote Hillary tomorrow, because reasons, although I was genuinely on the fence until the last few days (and even then, the Reagan/AIDS fuckup made me almost reconsider). I think Bernie being in this race is amazing and wonderful and has pulled the issues to the left even better than I hoped for when I thought he didn't stand a chance, but I also think she's a brilliant practical politician, and I want her to win so bad it hurts.

I have a sneaking suspicion that my dad might feel the Bern at the last minute, as he's an old 60s civil rights geezer, and Bernie is basically EXACTLY THE SAME PERSON as all of dad's friends and family. Mum is Team Hillz all the way, and has been waiting for this since her first consciousness-raising session.

In-laws are every bit as hardcore Republican as my parents are hardcore Dem, and I'm actually starting to wonder if MIL would sit out the election if Trump gets the nom. I hope she's at least voting Kasich out of Ohio loyalties rather than Cruz.

* all numbers in this post are post-beer. Also, you see why I keep silent about this shit on facebook?

Hey, I was in Colorado the week before Super Tuesday, so I saw the same 2 Clinton and 2 Sanders ads nonstop, and THEN I came home to ads for our primary, which is tomorrow. So I got double-whammied just for being a good person.

I want her to win so bad it hurts.

Oh my god, me too. I'll suck it up if Sanders gets the nomination, but I will cry. A lot. In 2008, I voted for Clinton in the primary, but I was super on the fence and pretty happy with Obama getting the nomination. Not this time. Damn it, I want her in the Oval Office SO BAD.

My mother called tonight to ask me to vote tomorrow. She actually managed to be subtle about telling me who to vote for (Hillary.)

I want her and Bill smirking at each other from opposite sides of the Bible during the Oath of Office. And the Chief Justice dying of outrage.

flea, do you get to vote in a cool location? I feel like there have to be a bunch of nifty spots in your neighborhood that are polling places.

We vote at the groovy 1960s Unitarian Church.

I love that building! It was built so those long front windows would be aligned with the sunrise(?) on the 2 equinoxes (or solstices?). (Okay, I forgot what I learned about the building other than the windows line up with the sun twice a year. Which is probably true of most buildings.)

Sometimes I'm just ridiculous. I've been having sinus issues for probably 4 weeks now, and have had really noticeably bad symptoms since I got back from Colorado. And yet I just googled "can a sinus infection make you exhausted?".

Look, I just figure that it's just in my sinuses, that's not a large area, how bad can it REALLY make me feel? It's a localized infection, NBD, right?

Apparently Dr. Google thinks otherwise. Apparently a sinus infection can indeed make you feel exhausted.
