Upon reflection, I think I probably have the flu rather than a cold. The blinding headaches and muscle aches probably should have been a clue.

Oh no, shrift. Can you still stay home from work? I mean: stay home from work!
Bummer, shrift. I hope that identifying it makes it easier to bear.
So I spent the last four weeks going to physiotherapy to treat my right knee that I twisted before Xmas, but was still giving me trouble. It's been feeling great the last several days and I had one final physio session never week. So today I came down funny on my left knee while crossing the street. And I can barely walk on it. The only good thing is at least my other knee is healed so I am not totally incapacitated. But man, I am feeling decrepit.

I did stay home from work for several days! I tried going back to work this week, but I'm still exhausted and congested. I worked from home some to avoid getting my coworkers sick, but it occurs to me now that I probably shouldn't have gone in to work at all this week.
Ugh. Hope you get better soon.
Oy, Sue. Knees are so fragile.
Yeah, shrift, probably!
Sorry about the knee, Sue!
I will try to remember to take it easy and be patient.
We have spent the last three days walking all over SF, in the rain. My knees hate me. I still feel damp even though we have been inside for hours and I put my pj's in the dryer before putting them on. We go home tomorrow evening and there is so much we haven't done. I haven't seen near all the people is like to our gone to all the places we miss. And we definitely haven't eaten ALL the nommy food.

Let me know if I can pick anything up for you. It's easy enough, and I can just hand you a bag from the door and won't expect you to be social.
