Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Upon reflection, I think I probably have the flu rather than a cold. The blinding headaches and muscle aches probably should have been a clue.

Let me know if I can pick anything up for you. It's easy enough, and I can just hand you a bag from the door and won't expect you to be social.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I got my nails done today and grocery shopped and rematched episode one of Mr. Robot. J is away during the week every week this month, so I am going to rematch it to prep for the new season (and to look at Rami Malek's odd-yet-wonderful face).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, Sue! Joints, man.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I did not understand why it was dark this morning when my alarm went off.

Librarian Warlord

We went up to NYC this weekend and had a great time but the staying up late and loss of an hour of sleep pretty much wrecked us all for this Monday morning. Gronk.

Here's a thing I don't understand, and I think I don't understand it because of class: Multiple people at my job quit in the spring because they are going to grad school in the fall. How do they live in between???

Coding and Sleeping

Ugh. Terrible Monday. This will be the second day this year I've taken off work just because so much crap has come up, I won't have time to work.

Ugh, guys, I try so hard not to take frustrations out on CS reps on the phone, but I just snapped at one and hung up, because in response to my comment that this FSA has been more difficult to deal with than any other I've ever been a part of, she said "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

How do they live in between???

I share your confusion there. I worked up to the fall when I started grad school, but then I had at some point taken 3 months off work to travel to China, so there's that. Young people! So free!
