This has been A. WEEK. Non-stop work, something going on every evening, plus a couple of doc appts for the boy. No down time for me. The exhaustion is catching up.
sara, jesse, anyone else with workplace unease...I wish you the best and send work~ma your way.
Man, sarameg. Hoping for a good outcome from the contract shenanigans, and best wishes for your aunt, continuing.
So cool, aurelia! Thanks for the pictures, that is so interesting. I love seeing what's behind theatre magic.
My digestive system seems to be implying that having Popeyes for dinner last night was a bad idea. Which is unfortunate as I brought leftovers for lunch.

One of our French developers has picked up the habit of saying "blah blah blah", and it's hilarious in a French accent.
Fingers crossed sara and Jesse, may the work~ma be working in your favor
The brakes aren't working right on the car, and we are trying to figure out when we can take it in to the shop. I hate being down to one car just because of situations like this. Ugh. Worst case scenario maybe I have to drop it off and figure out how to bus/train it to work.
My colleague's Thing is OK and may not happen anyway, so I'm not going to worry about it!
Best of luck Sara!!!
lately. I just gotta get out and do more walking to make up for not walking to the train station every day.
I definitely see the difference in work from home days when I wear my Fitbit. One of the several reasons I'm planning to join/pay for a coworking space once I'm not traveling, even though I have a perfectly good home office.

That person is 100% correct.
Also, along the lines of Jesse's thing, things I did not want to hear this morning at 6am "so I think we need to talk..." Ugh. (And it was that she wanted to confirm we are nonmonogamous and she maybe has a date tonight. Bleh. I'm not crushed by it but I'm not thrilled either...and in ANY case, I didn't want to discuss at 630am!!!!!)
