Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My colleague's Thing is OK and may not happen anyway, so I'm not going to worry about it!

Best of luck Sara!!!

lately. I just gotta get out and do more walking to make up for not walking to the train station every day.

I definitely see the difference in work from home days when I wear my Fitbit. One of the several reasons I'm planning to join/pay for a coworking space once I'm not traveling, even though I have a perfectly good home office.

I feel that Rio could have written this [link]

That person is 100% correct.

Also, along the lines of Jesse's thing, things I did not want to hear this morning at 6am "so I think we need to talk..." Ugh. (And it was that she wanted to confirm we are nonmonogamous and she maybe has a date tonight. Bleh. I'm not crushed by it but I'm not thrilled either...and in ANY case, I didn't want to discuss at 630am!!!!!)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Ugh, meara, bad timing.

Jesse, glad things are ok.

sara, crossing my fingers and toes for ya.

Normally I have a rule that I have to be dressed before I come downstairs to work. Even if it is inside clothes, just something where I wouldn't be embarrassed opening the front door. That has not yet happened today. I know I'll need to deal with that at some point. On the other hand, I actually cooked some eggs for breakfast, which I never do.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

aurelia, that is totally cool! I love seeing behind-the-scenes stuff like that.

Working from home was hard for me, because it was so easy to slip into the habit of not ever talking to anyone, even when I did get out of the house. I wouldn't want to do it long-term.

I'm beginning to think I shouldn't either. We'll see.

And here we go...

Good luck, sara! I hope CSwtfe is told to go take a long walk off of a short pier.

Glad that the think is OK, Jesse, and won't be cause for any worry for you.

I think it's been a week like that for everyone, Suzi. It's been pissy and exhausting in general. I hope you get a chance to rebound soon.

I definitely see the difference in work from home days when I wear my Fitbit. One of the several reasons I'm planning to join/pay for a coworking space once I'm not traveling, even though I have a perfectly good home office.

Me too. Even though I spent hours in the car each day while I was in NM, I still managed more than 11,000 steps per day. When I'm home, and on a day I don't go to the gym, I'm lucky if I hit 2,000.

There's a few coworking spaces in Harrisburg, but I'm not convinced it would be any better. I wouldn't do it every day, so I couldn't get an office. The only spaces available to me are communal tables with other people. I like my larger monitor and wireless keyboard and I couldn't use them there. There is also such a thing as too much closeness with people. Yes, I know I'm being all Princess in the Pea-like.

Boo, meara. Nothing should be discussed at 6:30 am besides coffee or breakfast.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ltc was very insistent on holding her dish this morning while I fed her breakfast. As in big huge tears. So, after the food was mostly gone, I let her have at it. Messy but worth it.

Ugh, meara, I'm sorry that sucks.

I think Mitt Romney just quoted John Oliver in his speech against Trump, or he at least used a very similar list of Trump's failed business ventures.

Coding and Sleeping

It has to be incredibly frustrating for the RNC right now. The right-wing media has their base convinced that Obama has turned the country into a garbage fire and then Trump comes in and scoops their well-tenderized base.

Boom. Can't go official yet, as the rest of the staff doesn't yet know.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Ugh. Sorry, sara. That sucks.
