Because of the TV show, I've been thinking about the OJ trial a lot lately, and I'm amazed at what a perfect shitstorm of race, gender, and class it was. It just brought to the foreground everything that Americans like to pretend doesn't exist.

Just took CJ out to purchase his first suit. It is being tailored and will be ready for next weekend. He is going to look so nice. We briefly considered a tux as it would be great for the party and for prom (yes, he is going to prom with his girlfriend!!!). But beyond that, not as many opportunities for wear. Though, knowing him, he would create tux opportunities.
