You have time to work up a really cool story for what happened. Or you can just go back to work and pretend nothing happened, and when people ask you can blink at them and say "What do you mean, what happened?"

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Consuela, Im glad you got that taken care of, and I hope it heals up quickly for you.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I would give a different answer each time I got the question. Badger. Whomping willow. Laundry incident.

I do hope it heals up quickly.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Whomping willow would be great, but sadly my coworkers are un-geeky.

It was Mohs' procedure, yes. So swollen. Think I might take another dose of Tylenol and go to bed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh jeez, Consuela! Better to have it out of you, though.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Consuela. I hope the swelling is much better today. Ouch!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yikes, Consuela! Glad they caught it and got rid of it!

My niece got caught by the Google Earth camera! She's the redhead in the denim jacket in Providence RI, walking down Angell St between Brook and Thayer. She saw the camera car go by and called to tell us. So she's immortal now. At least until the camera goes through Providence again.

Librarian Warlord

Consuela, I'm glad that it's over, but sorry it's not over, over.

I haven't had coffee for three weeks, so no one should expect me to make sense in the morning.

Do people have NYC hotel recommendations? We are thinking of making a trip just for the fun of it in a couple of weeks.

That's so funny! There's a picture of my old boss on the street by our office, or at least there was.

I always just Priceline it, because I'm generally interested in staying in midtown, and you can almost always get something decent for $150.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's a shame that the Library Hotel doesn't give discounts for MLSes, because that totally should be a thing.
