Oh wow Sparky, yes, please! That would be great. She has a tutoring class now but we are not in love with it, in part because they keep telling us she's all prepared for the test, and then it turns out she's been blowing them. Not that I expect them to magically make her problems go away, but I did kind of expect them to let us know she was still flailing if that was the case.
I'll send an email
Man, I wish student loans were more like car loans or something -- I finished paying off a big one, and didn't even know until they mailed back my overpayment! So, yay (!!), but that was kind of anticlimactic.
I have to go return things to the library but I don't wanna get up.
Congrats!
ETA: um, to Jesse. Commiseration to Dana.
That is totally worth a congrats.
I am starting to freak out about packing for my chile trip. The weather will range from 30 degrees to 90 degrees, and the terrain from hiking through the desert" to "partying in a big city". And I'm trying to pack super minimal and not have to check a bag. Ahhhhh!
I seriously need to outsource parts of my life. Managed to knock out writing test plans for half my requirements, but failed to call bank or roofer, my cats are way overdue on shots and I haven't taken my car in for its second oil change (granted, I don't drive much, but overdue,) my porches all need work, I am bumbling my resume, avoiding The Talk with my division head, and and and.
...I'm just tired and wish I could be with my mom. Carolyn opened her eyes and focused on Molly as mom was telling a childhood misadventure story. Molly's gotta go back home for a week or two, so it'll just be my mom, and it'll be hard. She's probably the best sister to be there right now, and I'm not just saying that because she's my mom. Somehow being the family goofball translated into being the most level-headed and least prone to engage in drama (albeit Midwestern stoic drama, the things the sisters & bro get into a snit over, OY) but it will be hard for her.
