Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mm, cake.

Our wings are not tired

I just did my taxes, which took less than an hour for state and federal. So that's nice.

I am so jealous. I have probably 20 hours of work to do to finishing having everything together so that Pix and I can then go through and fill out the packet and make sure everything on our end it prepped to have the meeting with the CPA so that he can then work on the taxes.

brillig

I do not envy you your taxes, ND.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

ND, that sounds like one of my most terrifying nightmares.

Y'all, I am thisclose to investing in some tear-away stripper clothes. Just ripped off pj pants and a thin hoodie to stand on the deck in a tank and undies, damn the neighbors.

Anyone have advice for hot flashes? I'm going to talk to my doc, because I'm having at least two an hour, awake or asleep. It sounds funny, but in winter, it's really awful. No matter what you wear, in 15 minutes, it's the wrong thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am so jealous. I have probably 20 hours of work to do to finishing having everything together so that Pix and I can then go through and fill out the packet and make sure everything on our end it prepped to have the meeting with the CPA so that he can then work on the taxes.

This is the upside of just having one employer, no assets, and nothing else of financial interest.

That cake sounds amazing! I'm going to make this cabbage...

The status is NOT quo.

Owning your own business means crazy taxes. Ah well. Next year will be even more complicated because ND finally incorporated the company, so then we will have our own taxes and the corporation's taxes.

Neat, Suzi!

Dang, lisah, that is a lot of spinning!

Is that the camera you were taking a class to learn how to use, meara?

My taxes will probably be fairly easy once I make sure I have all the documents I need. That part takes some doing, though, and I have not been making it easy on myself this year. Usually I am more organized, at least with tax documents, but not right now, and I'm pretty sure there are a few that I can't get electronically. In fact there may be one that isn't available yet, although it may not actually apply to me. Not a high priority, yet.

I do now have coffee and food in me and have gotten in a walk with Walter, so he's happy and ready to nap and my muscles will hopefully be maybe less sore tomorrow than if I hadn't. I probably ate too much lunch, so now I'm going to digest for a bit before mowing the lawn because the grass and assorted weeds are way too tall.

Yes, but the class ended up being basically useless and a waste of money, which annoyed me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I did our taxes last week, I think. And it was a bummer due to the marriage penalty. I love K enough that I lost $5000 of my return this year.
