Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Sorry to hear the depression had worsened for you tommyrot. I hope things are looking a bit brighter now.

I'm either coming down with a cold or paying for all the bleach scrubbing I did yesterday with a sore throat. Alas, I'm going to have to cancel attending an Oscar party in case it's the former. I suppose it's good I got everything I needed to do done while I was feeling chipper and energized yesterday.

That doesn't sound like enough days off a month, aurelia...

Yes, I meant to say that.

Are the oscars tonight? I am so out of touch.

BTW, I now have coffee. My current plan is to sit and drink it while reading, and then make a prioritized list of what absolutely must get done today and then start doing those things.

Hahahaha I just spilled my nearly full cup of coffee. not on to anything that could really be hurt by it at least, but I am back to square one on Getting Through This Day, do not collect $200.

Punishingly Intricate

I went to a 2.5 hour spin class/indoor Ride for the Feast training ride. My first time on a spin bike in months and months and months! I meant to just do an hour but, peer pressure! I feel very accomplished and I'd love a nap now but I have too much to do.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Somehow I managed to lose my car key.(I honestly don't know where/how. I know where I last had it, and I checked all over.) Luckily, I have a spare.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Wow, lisah, that's a long time for a spin class. Color me impressed.

I ran the dog 5 miles, then had an omelet and just took two layers of this cake out of the oven. I'm only doing 2 layers, not six, because I'm not INSANE. I'm also skipping the three (!) different frostings and making just a basic cream-cheese frosting. Next I get to clean the house and run to the store for supplies to make white-bean rosemary soup, since I somehow offered to host family dinner tonight. Since Dad's still not very mobile, we don't have to have beef.

I'll get to use my mother's china, which will be fun.

That is a SUPER LONG spin class. Damn.

...now I want cake.

I babysat for a couple hours, and am now attempting to figure out my camera. Kinda failing though.
