Punishingly Intricate

Anyway, I had forgotten that this thing comes with a parking space so now I am excited about that! I think I also get, like, company scrip which means MOAR COOKING EQUIPMENT

NICE!!!

Ah, what brave new world, where you can order something and get in within the same week, and you didn't even pay for extra special shipping. Where before you'd get a catalog, maybe call someone if you're lucky to place the order, then get it within a month. I understand why the internet is considered a standard utility now.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hey, Kate, do you have a realtor recommendation? Since he has time, husband wants to spend a bit of time looking around to see what's what.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My brother feels really good today, and had his last beer around 8:00 last night and hasn't had one today. He thinks he might be done with the beer, and said that if he hasn't wanted a beer by this afternoon, he's going to pour out the remaining beers that are in the fridge.

She looks like a picture-perfect baby from everything I see on FB.

I tend to think this relapse was "good", in that it's very common for people in recovery to relapse at least once, and he needed to experience relapse and really face it. Because when he quit drinking 3 1/2 years ago, he didn't join a group or even find a therapist. So he was not drinking, but not really truly sober. This relapse has, at the very least, sent him to a therapist and shown him that it takes more than just not drinking to be truly sober.

information libertarian

Well, I've been invited for a phone interview for the job in Illinois I applied for. They offered limited times next Tuesday or Wednesday, all when I am at work, so I have to do some fudging (our schedules are made WAY in advance.)

I shouldn't be dreading this. It sounds like a great job for me. But the thought of moving makes me feel like killing myself. Teleporter technology would be great.

Good luck, flea, no matter how it turns out.
