Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

She looks like a picture-perfect baby from everything I see on FB.

That's good news, Teppy!

I tend to think this relapse was "good", in that it's very common for people in recovery to relapse at least once, and he needed to experience relapse and really face it. Because when he quit drinking 3 1/2 years ago, he didn't join a group or even find a therapist. So he was not drinking, but not really truly sober. This relapse has, at the very least, sent him to a therapist and shown him that it takes more than just not drinking to be truly sober.

Well, I've been invited for a phone interview for the job in Illinois I applied for. They offered limited times next Tuesday or Wednesday, all when I am at work, so I have to do some fudging (our schedules are made WAY in advance.)

I shouldn't be dreading this. It sounds like a great job for me. But the thought of moving makes me feel like killing myself. Teleporter technology would be great.

Our wings are not tired

I'm spent.

Things are very tense with my sister and I. Mom gets cremated on the 2nd. I paid for all of the cremation and other things of course.

My lawyer is diligently making sure that there is nothing in the will and trust that will leave me liable for anything.

My sister has made very poor financial choices. This is actually a theme of her life. As a result she is in a absolute panic and thinks that the only solution is for her to get the house, which is the only really major asset. It has a credit line out against it, but other than that is paid of. She says she can't afford to pay off the credit line, so she expects me use every other penny in the estate to pay that off, and then let her have the house, since she simply can't afford to have a mortgage.

I just can't even.

It's all so draining, and I'm grieving, and it's a mess.

Sounds like she needs to be reminded that she's not a child and you're not her parent, ND.

Oh, Drew, I'm so sorry. You should not have to do any of this. She should have to buy you out if she wants the house.

Good luck, flea. But I understand about moving.

Dana! Speaking of which, I have a realtor suggestion for you if Kate and the other Nashvillistas don't. His name is Rick Elias, and he used to be a musician. He can be a little brusque, but he can Get Stuff Done. RickEliasRE@gmail.com
