Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Steph, that's unbelievably awful. I'm so sorry, for Tim and his ex's family, and for you not being able to be with him right now.

Burrell, I recall the scare was over Tryptophan supplements, but I don't remember exactly what happened. I'm sure it's been addressed, since you can easily buy them now. I've known several people who've taken Tryptophan and St. John's Wort, including myself. It seems to work for some people and not for others, and the only way to know is to try it. The main negative side effect I've heard about from either is excessive sleepiness. (For me, things that increase serotonin tend to make me *more* depressed. I think I'm unusual in that reaction, but if it should happen to you too, at least you know it's real.) In short, I say try it, see what happens. STW should work pretty quickly, Tryptophan may take a week or two. IANAD

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Jeeeeesus, Steph. But I'm glad things are going well with your brother.

Are you familiar with Highland Heights, KY? It looks like it's literally part of the Cincinnati metro area. A new job has arisen, and though I am side-eying how northerly the job search is trending, the position looks like it could be husband's dream job.

Steph, I'm so sorry for Tim and that family. You are both holding up the world right now.

It is, in fact, part of the Cincinnati metro area. I like Highland Heights a lot. It's a nice part of Northern Kentucky.

MOAR GREATER CINCY BUFFISTAE!!!

t edit We have a lot of really good community choral groups here, too.

If the company is located in Highland Heights, depending on how long of a commute your husband wanted (and depending on where you worked), there are any number of Cincinnati (as in, actually Ohio) neighborhoods you could live in. I think I'm roughly 15 minutes from Highland Heights, as is flea, and Hil is also probably about 15 minutes (in a different direction), because of the highway.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks Zen. I cannot imagine a world where I suffer from excessive sleepiness, but I can well remember a world where I wasn't horribly cranky all the the f'ing time, and I'd like to live there again.

Thanks, Steph. I'm concerned I might freeze to death, of course.

The weather isn't bad, and the summers can be downright tropical. (That happens when you live in a river valley.)

I'm sorry about Tim's loss, Steph. But I'm glad your brother's doing better.

I'm sitting in the bathroom with my laptop and my cat. There's been a tornado warning for about 45 minutes, and it's supposed to last for another half hour. Apparently a funnel touched down just north of town. It's a work from home day, and I'm glad I can be here and not wondering if my cat is ok.
