You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

Steph, how did the therapist go?

In my insane quest to run all the miles this year, I have 21.98 more miles to run this month. I have 7 more days to go. The likelihood of me reaching that milestone is not looking promising.

Dammit, I engaged. The anti-Obama one commented on something I posted. Really hope I don't regret this.

Any way I look at that math, that is a rather daunting number, Kat. Good luck.

I'm trying to not engage with people I think are nutters. It's a challenge on facebook, for sure. For a while, I had winnowed my circle to be essentially an echo chamber, now I engage more with strangers and I find the need to be either forcibly restrained from replying or I have to close the browser. Ugh. I hope that the person doesn't act like too much of a douche, EpicTangent.

Steph, how did the therapist go?

The appointment is in about an hour. Fingers crossed!

Man, I'm tired. His couch is comfortable, but it's not like sleeping in my own queen-sized bed. But at least the couch is comfy.

Me too. He's someone I actually consider a friend, so I'm hoping we can just agree to disagree and move on. He replied and I responded again, including suggesting we don't engage on this topic anymore. Fingers crossed!

Definitely, fingers crossed, Steph.

Consuela, best to you.

This is my second day back at work, and there are still over 1K emails unread in my inbox. Probably about 250 that I actually have to read.

Holy effing shit, he just referred to the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES as a "CON ARTIST"!!!! What the actual hell is wrong with people! OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!1!!1

But he also agreed to disagree and not engage anymore, so I'm letting it go. No really. Mini-rant above, then I'm moving on. And he's moved away from San Diego so I won't see him in person before I actually get over this ridiculousness. Probably.

His couch is comfortable, but it's not like sleeping in my own queen-sized bed.

There is just something about your own bed. Are you able to get any work done, or were you able to take a little time off?

Yikes, can I loan you a shovel? Good luck with that.

Crap, I just remembered I have to call my lawn guy. Came home last night to a shattered window on the back patio. I need to see if my lawn guy saw anything. I'm actually thinking it might just be that the lawnmower picked up a rock and flung it, but then it's weird that he didn't say anything to us. I mean, it's a big window (6 foot plateglass next to the sliding door), and it's one of the good ones we had redone a few years back, so it'll cost a fortune and have to go through the home insurance policy anyway, but it would have been nice to get a head's up, maybe an offer to split the deductible or something...

This "grown up" crap, I don't remember signing up for it.

I did a little work but not all of it; the freelance coordinator was very understanding, thank god.
