Well, folks don't talk about Phoenix, ever, without a layover or work teambuilding so, you know. But sometimes you do find out that folks you'd never expect tweet.

hope you are sleeping Steph
Hope all goes well today, Tep. Would it be any help to talk to alcohol rehab pros and find out if your brother's tapering idea is a good or at least not-terrible one?
I'm sitting on some good news it is not mine to tell, but if you vaguely feel the world is a happier place, you're not wrong.
Hugs and other supportive gestures to all the Buffista family.
Connie, I'm glad the ALF is there to watch over your dad.
Teppy, hopefully he hushed up enough for you both to get some rest and that today is a step closer to rehab.
While we had an inch or so of snow at our house, there was next to nothing at the airport. I really should check the forecast for Salt Lake.
Thinking good thoughts for Dana's Dh, Consuela and your dad, Steph and your brother. A lot going on.
Rain here, lots of rain.

The snow came through yesterday, it looks like it will be clear and getting warmer the rest of the week. Highs in the 40s.
What msbell said. Many good thoughts and vibes out to all of you dealing with bad things.

I read this that Alf (the puppet) was watching over Connie's dad. I am not sure if Alf would be a good caretaker. Also, for some reason Alf alway reminded me of Ronald Reagan (I was 13 - 15 when it was on). I seriously thought that they were satirizing Ronald Reagan through Alf.
I can kind of see that. Based on stills, anyway. I never watched Alf, but I am having trouble imagining what satirical political subtext it might have had.
