I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We may end up getting cable again just to lower our goddamn bill.

Our wings are not tired

Yeah, my lawyer is working on finding out what has happened to the trust since my dad died back in 2008. There is now a new lawyer with the trust, so I suspect it has been changed. Hopefully she can get a copy of the old trust from the original lawyer and the new trust from the new lawyer. I suspect that my sister got power of attorney and I've either been removed or diminished in the trust.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I keep cable mainly because I have to have high-speed Internet, and it's cheaper to get Internet bundled with cable than without, which is madness.

ND, that's rough. I hope everything works out with minimal stress.

Compassionately intolerant

I suspect that my sister got power of attorney and I've either been removed or diminished in the trust.

This is exactly what happened when my father died. In the end, my only stance was a moral one and, fortunately, my step-sister caved to it.

Information is power. I hope you will get what you need.

In a bit of good news from Casa Suziq, the girlfriend is ok. Severe dehydration caused other issues which are now being dealt with. She is a tiny little slip of a girl to begin with, so she can't afford to miss a meal or not hydrate.

Ok, aunt is at Oregon health science university hospital, not Vibra. Mom's headed out at the end of the month.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Vibes that ND's lawyer helps and that the whole thing is... well, not *not* stressful, because that's completely unrealistic, but with as little unnecessary stress as possible.

I deny that CJ even has a girlfriend. I know he's graduated high school and has been rescuing lost hikers for years and all, but in my brain he is maybe twelve tops; hence, no girlfriend. However, even though she is clearly a figment of your imagination, I'm very glad she is imaginarily better.

It took another many-too-many minutes, but I did finally talk to the advice nurse and I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow, at which I plan to grovel and beg for either a prescription for something stronger, a referral to a physical therapist or an orthopedist, or preferably both.

I think I missed what happened, but good luck, JZ!

And definitely good luck to ND. And to sarameg's family. And to everyone really. Be safe out there! Can't we all just cozy up in snuggies on a couch and watch some tv or something, for a while? Yeesh, universe!

Thanks shrift--we'll see what happens tomorrow. I'm feeling better about it today having rested on it.

And I got home and had lots of Amazon packages (I mean, I ordered them, but still fun!) AND my new drivers license came, yay!

ETA: and somewhat pathetic but I'm proud it's my moms birthday and I remembered to call her! (I also sent a card last week, but)

Emmett and CJ are close to the same age. Scary! He met A at the dojo when we moved out here 7.5 years ago. They became a couple a month or so ago. He tends not to share when he goes out with a girl but A insisted he tell me so I invited her to my birthday dinner last week. I'm glad her health scare turned out to be less serious than originally thought.
