I am reading some mystery books that are written by a mother and son. The mother is Caroline Todd and the son is Charles Todd. They use the name Charles Todd. Goodreads says "Charles Todd is a pseudonym for the writing duo of Caroline and Charles Todd"- but is that really a pseudonym? Aren't they just using his actual name?

I think it's still a pseudonym, Sophia. It's not the actual name of the author, since the author is two people. It's an odd choice, though.
