He doesn't travel well. He's like fine shrimp.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

My sympathies, Drew.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm so sorry, Drew.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Did you qualify for a program of some sort when you financed, Suzi? If it requires the house to be your primary residence they may have to periodically verify, not just when you bought.

I think my fever broke, which is good, I guess, but means I can't really justify staying home tomorrow. Still taking rest & recovery today, though: eating soup, drinking orange juice, not doing much else. Making the soup really wore me out and it was mostly just dumping ingredients into the pot.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

-t, take care. Just cause the fever is gone, you still have more recovery to go.

No special program, -t. Just odd. I mean, I live here, so it wasn't like - oooops, they caught me.

That's weird Suzi. Most people would be at work??

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you're still sick tomorrow, you can still stay home, -t!

Then I don't know, Suzi. That's weird.

I'm sorry, Drew.

brillig

Peace to your family, Drew.

ION, there are mountains out there! Did you know the sky was blue? And light comes from a concentrated, bright circle that moves across the sky, it's not just a vague emanation from the grey fuzziness that covers everything.

In other words, the worst of the inversion is broken. The air is still not something you'd choose to breathe, and there's still haze lurking around, but the worst is over. We've got another storm due on Thursday that should clean out the rest of it.

And I am checked in for my flight to Vegas tomorrow. The hotel that I'd initially booked on Venice Beach sent me an email reminding me of the codes I'd need to punch in to get into the building. I get the impression that there isn't much staff at that place. I hope they remember that they cancelled my reservation. Fortunately, I still have the Travelocity email that says they agreed to the cancellation.

Tomorrow at this time I'll be settling into my hotel room and deciding where to lounge first.

Also, in other other news, I saw a bit on one of the midday "news" shows talking about how collectible the brightly colored Pyrex mixing and serving dishes all our mothers had. "Go to the garage sales and flea markets! Someone's selling Grandma's old bowls, and this one is worth $200!" I've never had such a "You are shitting me" moment since my Great-Uncle told me about the "city feller" who stopped by the farm and offered him $50 for the old table that was in the barn holding the half-empty paint cans.
