I just had a guy ring my doorbell to verify occupancy for my mortgage company. He couldn't explain why this was needed, but he had basic information about my loan company so I think he was on the up and up. I just don't understand why - I moved in last April.

I have sent a message to my loan company to ask for further information.

Did you qualify for a program of some sort when you financed, Suzi? If it requires the house to be your primary residence they may have to periodically verify, not just when you bought.

I think my fever broke, which is good, I guess, but means I can't really justify staying home tomorrow. Still taking rest & recovery today, though: eating soup, drinking orange juice, not doing much else. Making the soup really wore me out and it was mostly just dumping ingredients into the pot.
