this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

TEPPY: Do you need any gluten-free Girl Scout cookies? The troop at Matilda's school is selling gluten-free toffee butter cookies, and I could nab you a box or two if you don't have a local source for them.

You are so thoughtful! I do have a local hookup, so I'm set, but thank you!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The revolution will be of love and puppies, and no one will be hurt in the chaos

There may be blood, but it'll just be villains and extras, so it's fine. Hey! Is that bacon cheddar popcorn?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I just Googled and Bell, Biv, and DeVoe are all 47/48. Which, I guess is not surprising since I am 43, but how did they get so old??

Yeah, I would have thought they were closer to my age. But there was that story about Bobby Brown asking out my godsister, and she's 3 or 4 years older than me.

Good rant, JZ!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

This is where I remind everyone that Bobby Brown sent his people over to me at the airport and got my number, right.

I just found that business card the other day.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

JZ, that's a magnificent rant.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Well said, JZ. I would add, what do people do while the country/system is being destroyed? Destroy-to-rebuild makes a nice theory. But people need to eat every day. The rent or mortgage, as applicable, is due every month.

I really want to believe that, come election day, the number of people who are going to petulantly stay home (or vote for the GOP candidate) because their preferred Democrat didn't get the nomination will be so small as to not matter. Or it will be people in a state like California that always goes overwhelmingly Democrat, so their hissy fit will be diluted and, again, not matter.

But I'ma punch people here in Ohio if they try that nonsense. I plan to vote for Clinton in the primary, and I don't actually think Sanders can win the general election, but I will by god vote for whichever one of them gets the nomination.

brillig

Hillary is a t shudder Clinton, but Bernie is a t dear god! Socialist, which everyone knows means godless Communist, so I'm hoping Clinton get the nomination, because we've got a few more decades to go before the kneejerk mainstream will understand what a socialist really is.
