Well said, JZ. I would add, what do people do while the country/system is being destroyed? Destroy-to-rebuild makes a nice theory. But people need to eat every day. The rent or mortgage, as applicable, is due every month.
I really want to believe that, come election day, the number of people who are going to petulantly stay home (or vote for the GOP candidate) because their preferred Democrat didn't get the nomination will be so small as to not matter. Or it will be people in a state like California that always goes overwhelmingly Democrat, so their hissy fit will be diluted and, again, not matter.
But I'ma punch people here in Ohio if they try that nonsense. I plan to vote for Clinton in the primary, and I don't actually think Sanders can win the general election, but I will by god vote for whichever one of them gets the nomination.
Hillary is a t shudder Clinton, but Bernie is a t dear god! Socialist, which everyone knows means godless Communist, so I'm hoping Clinton get the nomination, because we've got a few more decades to go before the kneejerk mainstream will understand what a socialist really is.
