Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, -t! I was about to take a piece to eat the pepperoni off, and I didn't even do that!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Started the morning with Democracy now. The opening ten minutes of headlines included the following coverage of the Super Bowl as follow:

"More than 100 million people tuned in to watch Super Bowl 50 last night. Viewers witnessed one of the most political halftime shows in the Super Bowl’s history as the legendary singer Beyoncé paid tribute to the Black Panthers and the Black Lives Matter movement. Backstage, Beyoncé’s dancers posed with their fists in the air, recalling the black power salute by Tommie Smith and John Carlos at the 1968 Olympics. Meanwhile, homeless advocates staged a series of protests in recent weeks over San Francisco’s efforts to sweep the homeless from the streets ahead of the Super Bowl. Many of the homeless were supplanted to make way for Super Bowl City, a gated exhibition area for NFL sponsors and fans to participate in game-associated festivities. Oh, by the way, Denver beat the Broncos"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

2 of my college classmates posted today about new babies. One couple just had twins, one adopted. Both have other children already so they know what that are facing, but I just got instantly tired. Newborns at 45? Omg.

I guess thank god we are different and all that.

Bless their hearts.

Nap.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Newborns at 45? Omg.

One of my high-school BFFs, who I only see on FB these days, is pregnant for the first time at 44 and is due in June. She's thrilled as hell, but that sounds SO exhausting.

Parenthood has really made me realize how selfish I am. Some of that is circumstantial, but yeah I am ready for me only considerations.

Go Jesse! Not sure I could do that. I'd eat pizza

I have to go get a new license today. Because I lost mine last night. Except they only give you a paper copy and mail the real one. Grr.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Essentially the only way I can lose weight is cutting out whole categories of food. I can maintain my setpoint no problem -- and actually, I've maintained my setpoint+10 for two years without gaining any more. So I'm just trying to get rid of that 10.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We had Matilda when I was 45. ijs

I'm reporting to you from a chair in the sky, as I fly to Miami to pitch to several animation producers (including Amazon and Corus).

I've managed to drop my lone book behind my seat and as I'm in the last row I can't retrieve it until I get both of my rowmates up and out of their seats. Woe!

All my body is craving is fried food and biscuits. That is all. No good.
