Ask me how I know....

Check your gene pool - I am allergic to E-mycin.

Sorry to hear that Matilda is ill - alth the "she feels totally fine" seems very typical of kiddos. Says the woman who is on week two of a cold that her kid got over in two days.

Today is the faculty/student lunch and a bad news budget meeting. If only they served booze at the lunch!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor Matilda. I hope she is feeling better soon.

Everything in the town TCG works is closed except for Town Hall where he works, and he has to work late tonight so I wad going to order delivery but he didn't shovel before he left. So, I don't think they'll deliver.

sj, do you have local listserv you could post on looking for a kid that wanted to earn a few bucks shoveling your walk? We also have a CASA de Maryland where we can hire workers to shovel, etc. [link] at reasonable rates.

There doesn't seem to be anything like that in my town. When I was a kid teenagers would go door to door offering to shovel for money. Does that not happen anymore or are the teenagers in my town just lazy?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kids used to come over and shovel my drive for cash. Now they don't come by at all. Maybe they're all grown with jobs. Maybe that annoying kid who keeps running across my yard knocking my spacers over could come do some work. Yeah, right.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Yep, it's a mycin. We're gonna try making sure that she has something solid in her gut before the next dose.

And, agh, Sparky, that's awful. Booze, on management's dime, should be an absolute requirement for a lunch like that.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I've been running myself ragged and trying to keep up in here, but failing. I'm sending much ~ma to anyone who needs it, whether good or bad. May the sickly ones feel better soon, and those in good health continue to be that way. Work needs to stop being a pain in the ass for everyone.

Hi! I've missed you people.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I'm one with Maria. I can't keep up right now, but I love and miss you all. ~ma to all who need it. I hope to catch up this weekend.

The combination of PMS and my work schedule changing from me having to be in at 7 a.m. to having to be in at 6 a.m. this week has turned me into a snarling ragemonster. I'm trying to limit human contact as much as possible.
