I'm one with Maria. I can't keep up right now, but I love and miss you all. ~ma to all who need it. I hope to catch up this weekend.
The combination of PMS and my work schedule changing from me having to be in at 7 a.m. to having to be in at 6 a.m. this week has turned me into a snarling ragemonster. I'm trying to limit human contact as much as possible.
Jeez and I complain about 8-5 instead of 9-5.
That is horrible. I don't think I could do it.
Sounds miserable, amyth. 6am is a nonfunctional hour.
Snarling ragemonster is a completely understandable response to a 6am start of work.
I have a friend who works for LAX TSA and his work day usually starts at 4am. I don't know how he does it.
I'd much rather work a regular graveyard shift - 11pm - 7am at one of my previous jobs than have to get up for work at 4am. Or even 6am.
Motivation is supremely lacking on this Friday. I just want to sleep.
Yeah, I would cry if I had to be in at 7!
I had a meeting all morning (and two before it!) and it's snowing and I'm not sure I'm going to get anything else done today.
Motivation is supremely lacking on this Friday. I just want to sleep.
I have a severe case of don't wanna. Not enough sleep last night and general lack of emotional spoons has me wanting to sleep until Monday.
I have to get up at 4 to be in by 8, but that is because of the bus and the fact I am a slowpoke.
My favorite was working a swing shift. I had set up a new distribution center and I needed to be in the office when the regular office peeps were there and also in the warehouse when the pickers were working second shift to stock the new shelves. So I think it was like, 10am - 7pm. Which was perfect. I rolled out of bed late, missed both rush hours, still had time to go out with friends or whatever when I got home. It only lasted a few months when we were starting it up, but those were happy months.
