Uber to get the DH back and forth to appts
That's brilliant. So much of treatment is short notice "Please be at this clinic on the other side of town in an hour and a half, the rest of your treatment depends on it. Oh, and it's hard to find parking over there, so give yourself some extra time."
Here's hoping they can give Matilda some relief.
...snapdragons are on the toxic list. Perhaps Matt's cats were simply made stronger by the snapdragon.
Well, they are former alley cats that used to eat garbage, so they have pretty strong stomachs. I can't recall more than a handful of times I've had to clean up cat vomit in over two years of having both of them. I do keep them away from onions and garlic though.
That's a relief, Suzi.
Best thoughts for Matilda!!
Kate, if she's got an e-book reader, maybe the first book in several different series?
My Mom went through the O'Brian "Master and Commander" series during chemo, which was not her normal thing. When she was healthy she preferred literature, but when she was on chemo she didn't want anything that required real thought. She wanted something that would keep her attention for a few hours but not so compelling that she'd stay up all night. And the fact that was 20 books in the series meant there was always another book available.
M&C was just one series she read through. I know she also read her way through a bunch of mystery series. Obviously specific recommendations would depend on her particular interests.
Poor Matilda. That sounds miserable.
I'm sorry, Kate.
Health~ma to Matilda. Long periods of coughing can be draining.
Oh, poor Matilda. I hope the doctors can help. Maybe a preventive inhaler, along with the rescue one?
Kate, I am so sorry. Fuck cancer, indeed.
(((Matilda))) Poor thing, that sounds so miserable.
My cats ignore catnip, but are gaga over lemongrass. I have given up overwintering the plants inside, because the little brats will destroy things in an effort to get to them.
