Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's Monday and the first of the month, which makes it like Monday-squared.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Rebecca, I know it has taken me a while to get used to a cat coming in and out of the bedroom, but I have gotten used to it. Now I only wake up when I am trapped under Hazel and want to change positions! Anyway.

ION, my eating plan is working very well so far! I was afraid my lunch wasn't enough, but it is plenty. Also I have a snack if that turns out not to be true.

I called my boss and told him I wasn't coming in this morning due to the dreadful snowstorm that hit, as usual, during rush hour. It's still snowing lightly, and I kind of said I'd be in this afternoon but not to hold their breaths. It was dueling panic attacks, my terror of driving in this muck and my horror of calling in to say I wouldn't be in. I always feel so guilty taking time off without more warning--especially on a Monday. They always give me such disappointed/disapproving noises when I take the option of not coming in. I have the time, I'm allowed to do this! And staying off the road is a reasonable thing. I hate guilt-inducing bosses.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That sounds like a great memorial, Suzi

I am so sorry, meara

They should not make disapproving noises at you, Connie. That is one thing my company is very good about, it really is okay to take time off if we need to for whatever reason. Also, we can "call in" via email, which is SO MUCH BETTER

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My parents' dog periodically checks her food bowl during the day, just in case more food has magically appeared. I feel like doing the same thing with my Coke Zero.

Well, heck. I'm in San Framcisco for two extra days due to the storm moving across the country. I had been scheduled for the last flight tomorrow (and I never trust the last flight if there are expected cancellations) and due to all the flights already being cancelled and the amount of snow being dumped, I took Frontier's offer to shift my return without added cost. I had been hoping for a mid-day Wednesday flight but everything is booked solid until mid-day Thursday. So...I'm glad I brought some extra clothes and I can stay at my dad's, so it isn't that big of an inconvenience. Just...I miss home.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Whenever Kato comes in the back door, he immediately checks his food bowl. I admire that optimism.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Jesse, it's not the coming and going, it is putti g his face into my face, meowing, and scratching on the closet door. He's trying to wake me up is the point.
