Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Good luck finding her home, sarameg. PS let us know if you need any ideas for name, 'k?
who do I grateful-fuck?
Also this is hilarious
So today I rode my bike to my FINALLY starting again stretch class, which was 30 minutes, then class for 1 1/2 hours. My phone thinks I've not gotten any exercise today, but what does it know? My tush is going to be sore tomorrow.
I think right now what I really need is more coffee
It's 63 here, so I took that walk...along with basically the rest of my neighborhood (and their dogs). It was almost too warm to take a walk in yoga pants, but I balk at wearing shorts in January.
I hadn't realized it was that warm out. I've been inside working all day. Maybe I'll go sit on my porch and read or something. Though that would require clothes other than the Marvel pajamas I'm currently wearing.

Nonsense!
But yeah, enjoy the warm weather before the sun goes down. Especially because tomorrow is supposed to be still warm, but rainy. And then on Tuesday the high is 58 with heavy rain, followed by a high of 33 on Wednesday with snow.
I am already bracing for the migraine.
I got a haircut! And since the sun is out, I'm going to hike around Golden Gate Park.
I'm so California that 63 is not warm in my book. It's not cold but it's not warm either. Also FTR it is 63 right now in my neighborhood too.
I am trying a new recipe, something called Mississippi roast that is starting to trend online, according to articles online. Hmmm. But hey, looks tasty and is super easy and my family has been asking for more beef.
Holy crap! Woke up to discover a friend of mine from high school has been named VP of Development and Production for Discovery's Science Channel: [link]
Very cool, Matt!
Everyone I talked to today who's been at work all day (in the nursing home, my massage therapist) was like, Is it lovely outside?? It is nice and sunny, but not that warm. Comfortable in your coat.
I've got lots of boxes of stuff for the thrift store that need to go out to my car. However, we've had three inches of snow so far and it's still snowing. So I'm stymied by weather, because clearing out this stuff hard enough emotionally without having to trudge through the snow uphill both ways (there's a slope up to the driveway, then climbing the steps back to the porch and the front door).
So, soon I'll do the cat box and the dishes. Yay. (I'm sick of the cold and the snow. It's the end of January, I'm allowed to be sick of it now)
Thanks for the link to vacuum reviews! Helpful. My sister says canister vac, but I'm unconvinced.
I've gotten a bit done today. Some books put away, dusting and floor cleaning, some stuff put aside for sale/donation. Not bad. Gonna grab some food and maybe do some more later unless I fall asleep in front of the hypno-box.
I am very annoyed at someone and there's not a thing I can say to them or do about it, nor can I remove them from my life without losing someone I love. It's lucky they don't live near me; the mute button is all that saves me.
