I am sick of these snowstorms that dump just enough to make the last quarter mile up the hill to my office a crash hazard but the rest of the drive is slow but very doable. I spun out twice within a hundred feet of the front door of my building. No problems at all on the 20 miles previous.

I hope today treats you better, Zen.
I agree with Lee, Jesse, unless the 4 years have mad you less interested.
Should I apply for a job I didn't get 4 years ago? No, right?
Are you still interested in it? Then sure, why not. Maybe you're a better fit now?
Zen, I hope you are feeling better today. I also hope if you are not, you will know we are all here for you. I am not sure I have you matched up with the right person on Facebook, but I am Nadine there and would chat with you.
Today feels a little better but nothing's really changed. If I think too much about it I'll have another meltdown.
Sophia, I'm Elizabeth on Facebook with the snow photos. Thanks for the offers to chat, everyone. I don't even know what I'd say except for more miserable whining.
I'm sorry you're having a hard time, Zen. I'm sure you're harder on yourself than anyone else would be.
As a middle aged single white lady with only two friends and a messy house, Ginger's death did hit me hard. She had friends at the end to help, and I am scared that my two poor friends will be stuck with all of it if I die. I know that several of us have mentioned being really stuck with cleaning, and I am wondering if we should start a support group, like the losing weight people. I am just not sure I have the spoons to start it. I really like the squalor survivors support group, even if my stuff hasn't reached that level everywhere, but they do cleaning chats and accountability threads where you post, say, just three things you will do, and then come back and post you are done. Thanks, all! I'm still sort of neutrally interested. There just aren't that many jobs around here that I would be interested in, unless I really re-think my career, which I've been meaning to do for 10 years....
I have success to report! I just put away not only last week's laundry, but also several weeks' worth of worn-once clothes! Do you people do that? I'm happy to wear jeans, sweaters, etc., more than once, but it feels weird to put them back away right away. So I put them on top of my dresser and then sometimes they just stay there.
I also pulled out a few things to bring to Goodwill!
Will I manage to clean the bathroom and/or do a piece of writing I should have done last week? Stay tuned!
Zen, I will be in all day if you want to call. Drop a line if you do not still have my number, or would prefer FB.
My only outside endeavors will be dog walks, which won't be super long.
