Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sean, congratulations to you and your bride and your ready-made family. Tons of joy and good things wished to all of you!

Hugs for Gud--(do we hug? are we too manly?) Living with others' opinion of your failings is something only you can manage. But you are the keeper of your self-worth, and no one else's opinion has undue influence on that. You are by all accounts a wonderful provider, an excellent father, a partner who goes out of his way to make your family's lives easier and more fun. You're an author and a homework coach, and heaven knows what other sterling qualities you have to recommend you. You're a good person, and even good people make mistakes. Like...holding a grudge against someone for an indefinite period for an infraction that was fixed quickly and with no harm done.

(Hands all of you bricks) We're building a defensive wall around Tim Curry, who is also 69. As is Donald Turnip. Someone has either abysmal or excellent aim, is what I'm saying.

And, here, to augment all the Snape.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dammit, POTUS spoke at my high school this morning and I forgot to watch the livestream.

brillig

I don't like autopay because I don't want to give the city any kind of connection to my bank account. Also, until this year, my pay dates were migratory. Now they've been locked down to specific dates--except for holidays and weekends--so maybe autopay will work. But I liked the every other Wednesday method!

70 in April this year.

Um, Curry, not Connie's autopay. Which is far younger and spryer.

Congratulations, Sean!

Coding and Sleeping

Congrats, Sean!

Thanks everybody and hugs are good. Unfortunately, the washer picked tonight to break now which doesn't help matters. I fixed the drain pump a few months ago when it stopped draining and it's starting to leak badly. I suspect I bungled the repair.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I really wish Alan Rickman and David Bowie were not the exact same age as my mother.

Yeah.

I do love all the Truly, Madly, Deeply clips being shared everywhere. I loved that movie.

Sean, congrats!

I've never seen Truly, Madly, Deeply. Rickman is my OTMetatron, though.

Washing machines are so uncooperative.

My Buy All the Pumpkin Things spree is still paying dividends. I have been in that state of wanting food but nothing sounding good for a couple few hours and finally the Pumpkin-O's called to me. Delicious! I haven't had a bowl of col cereal in ages, that stuff is good.
