Natter 74: Ready or Not

That's what the doctors say about my 94 yo mom. They say once she got into her 70s that meant she didn't get cancer and would probably live a long time.
I really wish Alan Rickman and David Bowie were not the exact same age as my mother.
Same here.
Alan Rickman was such a delight to watch. I remember that horrible Robin Hood movie with him the best thing in it - he was so GLEEFUL about being awful. He looked like he was really enjoying it (and I saw an article that he got together with some friends to rewrite the script, because it was too horrible to endure).
Truly Madly Deeply always leaves me crying throughout and for a good while after.
And did anyone else see An Awfully Big Adventure? good, if depressing.
And this turned up ... cheered me up a little.
Sad about Alan Rickman. My daughter was weepy and we had to give her hugs and love before she went to school. So hard, she's lost her OTSnape.
After all this time? Always. OTSnape.
The feels, Kat. The feels.
As if I wasn't weepy enough today, CJ is bouncing between the doctor's office and getting a CT and he isn't answering my texts right now. I think he has a cyst under his spinal surgery scar. He is supposed to start the Fire Academy next week, which is VERY physically grueling. If he has to have surgery for the cyst, he will have to defer, which will break his heart. His father used to get horrible cysts that needed lancing the majority of the time but have also gotten to the point of horrible infection requiring hospitalization and surgery.
Hey, anyone want a box of nail polish? This is box #2, started by Steph. I should be able to go to the post office this weekend, if not tomorrow, so let me know!
Actually started by amyth and helped along by me. So many great glitter polishes!
